Wow, I'm glad all the damn drama is over! I really do not know why people (YouTubers) care if you were acting or not. I see it like this. You are a great actor, doing what you love and damn well I must add. Everyone got it all for free and still complain? I say," Great job, make the most of your fame, but most of all make sure you ALWAYS have fun doing it"!

And I agree about the drama LoneAscender, but I must say that Renetto's panicked response to her outing was priceless. You'd think he'd just discovered that the First Lady is a Soviet spy. It was most entertaining.
So now she also has name recognition on top of her huge following by internet standards. A producer couldn't help but think it might generate great word of mouth among some key demographics, even if they gave her a relatively minor role. Her situation is significantly different that of the Blair Witch Project, which was a low cost movie with a great marketing campaign but not real star power drawing in the audience. In Jessica's case, her performance and appeal built the fanbase, and that she was acting the whole time shows she can act, as opposed to many people who might attain celebrity status on the web for silly things they do but couldn't otherwise act their way out of a wet paper bag.
